first post on this blog! i don't really know what to say for now, just that i want to have a place for me to rant that isn't xitter 👍

i know this will sound like generic gen-z talk, but i really am tired of being on my damn phone all the time: it makes me over-stimulated and i keep wasting hours on it without really wanting to. i'm thinking of switching back to one of my old "dumbphones" (as the kids call 'em), since i already prefer using my laptop to answer messages on telegram and browse the internet and whatnot, but nowadays having a smartphone on me when i'm out is, unfortunately, kind of necessary. ah, life in the 21st century

aside from venting, i think i might use this blog to also post some of my drawings/photographs/3d models until i find a better solution :3

a picture of a ladybug i took a couple of weeks ago! i found her in one of my (dying) plant pots and i think she was thirsty ? i gave her some water either way and she started moving around on the soil so i think she needed it 👍

as for some stuff i've been into lately:

  • movies → i watched kamikaze girls and i LOVED IT!!! it's extremely cool!!! i've also watched (and liked) a lot of kurosawa movies and a bit of cronenberg's too (i have lowkey been raised around body horror-centric media, what can you do)
    • btw, i will have to make a page about all my fav films someday!
  • music → my most played track right now is "Die Schatten werden länger (reprise)" from elisabeth das musical, which could very well be true, but i have actually been listening to a lot of Sub-Radio's stuff, especially 1990something and Better Than That ! they seem cool
